Founders Week in The Indiranagar Cambridge School

Founder's day 2017-18 is observed on the 24th of June in The Indiranagar Cambridge School. Smt. Kasturi Shoury, Founder Trustee was a great patron of art and music. To commemorate this, the school conducts various competitions like Rangoli, Instrumental, singing, painting, drawing, story-telling and recitation, thus providing a platform for students to showcase their talent. The students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm during the Founders Week. The school ground looked resplendent with lovely floral and geometrical patterns of Rangoli. Students had the audience mesmerized with the tunes and rhythmic beats on the keyboard, bongo and drums. The soothing devotional and the semi classical tracks sung by the students were a treat and left us wanting for more. The primary students narrated stories highlighting the virtues of kindness and generosity. Prizes were awarded to the winners during the special assembly on 24th June.

24th June , marked as the Founder's day 2017-18 , is a very solemn occasion in our School, ever since our Founder Trustee , Smt. Kasturi Shoury, left us for heavenly abode in the year 2007. She was a great patron of Art and Music. She believed in encouraging the budding talent and tapping their potential by providing them the required platform.

To commemorate this day, we pay a humble tribute to our beloved Smt Kasturi Shoury, trying to imbibe and execute what she loved and patronized. A week prior to this day, the foyer is filled with write ups which speak volumes about the kind of personality she was, her achievements and her generous nature.

Various competitions are held during this week and the Founder Trustee Awards are given on the 24th of June.
