THE INDIRANAGAR CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL KANNADA RAJYOTSAVA CELEBRATION 2019-20

The 64th Kannada Rajyotsava or Karnataka Rajyotsava was celebrated with great vigour and grandeur at The Indiranagar Cambridge school on 2nd November, 2019.

The program began with the Kannada teachers hoisting the state flag followed by the state anthem. A meaningful invocation dance titled Nityotsava was presented by the students to invoke the blessings of God. The students put up various songs, dances showcasing the rich culture and heritage of Karnataka. A dance drama depicting the heroic deeds of Onnake Obbava highlighting the patriotism of the people of the state was the show stopper of the day. The students who spoke on the occasion gave a meaningful message on the significance of the day, the formation of the state and the need to cherish and cultivate love for the kannada language.

Apart from the programs, colourful displays showcasing the history of Karnataka adorned the corridors of the school. The celebrations came to an end with a beautiful dance that aptly captured the spirit of the day.
